Injuries, are they connected to training?
I consider myself a pretty experienced player of the game. But there’s just one thing that keeps coming up to the surface that I can’t really understand.
The injuries
If I got a chat with someone in the HT* staff I’d like to ask if theres some kind of hidden value around the injuries. I’m talking about the kind of hidden value that seems to be causing a player currently in training running a greater risk of being injured than a player not in training.
I’ve had over seventy (70!?) injury weeks the past two seasons, and from my investigations it always seems to be the players in training that are injured (pretty much apart from my latest ten weeks or so) regardless of what I practise. Of course I’ve only tried playmaking and scoring over these past two seasons, but the trainingtype doesn’t affect the injuryrisk, at least it is said so. When I played 3-5-2 training playmaking my biggest stars in my youth team, the ones with great secondary skills and thus my greatest upcoming stars seemed to be injured all the time, and no - they weren’t bruised when I played them, or actually one player was - but he luckily avoided injury. I figured this was just bad luck in the beginning but after training playmaking for the fourth consecutive season I saw that the injuries were ONLY affecting the players in practise.
What the hell? It can still be random regardless of this, of course with as many weeks as I’ve had I have had injuries in other areas of the team as well, defenders, attackers and so on. But the majority, more than 75% of the total injuries during this period of playmaking training affected my players in training.
So, at the end of last season I then switched to attackers after a couple of season with playmaking training. To my surprise the injuries kept on coming as they always had, a couple of weeks of injurytime for each hattrickweek. In the beginning it kept on coming to the playmakers, though I switched to 3-4-3 and scoring. But then, as a magical touch somewhere it was suddenly only striking my players in training, the attackers. The odd thing about it all, regardless of how many physiotherapists (for the record, I’ve had 10 during every week for the last two seasons, except for this one, I’m trying a new approach with 9!) I’ve had the longer injuries ALWAYS seem to be striking the players in training.
Still, it could just be bad luck, though I refuse to believe so! I don’t just write this to get sympathy, cause I know I wont - and that’s not what I’m after. I’m writing this in hope to see if others are experiencing the same thing.
The question yet to be answered by the users; “Are the injuries connected to the training?”

I’ve been very unfortunate when it comes to injuries this season - but in my case it seems to be connected with TSI or salaries.
Everytime i get an injury it is my most expensive player or the player with the highest TSI - and always a midfielder (i’m training winger)
10 injuries on my midtfield this season so far! Only 3 other injuries.
Training intensity= 90%
10 Psysiotherapists
All players only play one game a week.
